Well Being Team

Jacqui Scarboro

Pastoral Support Officer

I am Jacqui the Pastoral Support Officer for West Hill.  I have a strong link with West Hill as I was a pupil here myself.  I have worked in Schools for the past 13 years and before joining West Hill I was a Parent Support Adviser who covered 3 other Schools in Dartford.  I am also qualified as a Therapeutic Play practitioner and Filial play coach.  Alongside this and working with parents I regularly work with small groups of children.

Maddie Pritchard

Hi I’m Maddie Tunnicliffe, Sunflower class (reception) teacher. Before I became a teacher (and did a degree in early years) I was a nursery leader and a pub manager. I have always enjoyed dance and have a background in ballet and ballroom and Latin. Though it may not seem immediately apparent, a love of developing young children and their learning fits in very well with the ability to move around the classroom in a lively way and have a good understanding of the best beverages to drink at the end of a busy week teaching. However, as a mum to a very lively, strong willed little lady, you will probably find me asleep in her bed after a busy week teaching now! Mum life + teacher life = tired Miss Tunnicliffe. I hope to make the most of all my life experiences in bringing the best opportunities for children in my class.

Jane Knight

Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion)

I started teaching twelve years ago. During my career I have taught children ranging from Year One to Year Five. I have always had a keen interest in teaching and supporting children with special educational needs. As many of you know I was the SENCo at Temple Hill for a number of years before leaving in 2010. After leaving Temple Hill I went on to work as the Lead Teacher at a resourced provision for children with severe speech and language difficulties, in Deptford, South East London. During this time I was lucky enough to become a Specialist Leader of Education which enabled me to support school staff in Lewisham and across the country in order to improve the quality of provision for children with SEN.

Danielle Davenport

Assistant Headteacher

I started working at Temple Hill for approximately 11 years. I completed my teacher training at Temple Hill, I have taught amazing children throughout the school from Reception to Year 6. I have spent a considerable amount of my time at Temple Hill working with children with additional needs and their families, which I absolutely love and have a real passion for improving outcomes of all children despite challenges they and their families may face.

Since the Galaxy Trust has formed I have also worked at Oakfield with a focus on vulnerable groups, I really enjoyed the experience I gained from working across our ever growing Trust.  I am now very excited to join the West Hill Inclusion team, where I hope to add to the superb work they and all the staff carry out to ensure all children have a inclusive and happy education.
